Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our team at key locations in the UK. You will be responsible for cleaning platforms, removing litter and gum, sweeping, washing seating, and maintaining signage and waiting areas.

Full training will be provided and you will work as part of a professional team. The role offers a supportive environment with access to a company pension, wellbeing plans, and various benefits.

• Completed school age education or training.
• Willing to learn and develop.
• Reliable and flexible, smart in appearance and always professional.
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job.
• Preferably some experience working within a cleaning environment and as part of a team.
• Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions.
• Driving Licence (not required for all roles).

• Litter picking off platforms and car parks.
• Removing gum from platforms and entrances.
• Sweeping the platforms.
• Washing the platform seating.
• Wiping and washing poster frames.
• Cleaning the waiting shelter glazing, frames and surfaces.
• Cleaning the station signage.
• Cleaning and removing waste.

Working Hours – 2 days out of 7, 11 am - 6 pm Fri-Sat

• Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate or a valid share code.
