An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual for a temporary position at Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park. The role involves maintaining cleanliness at busy visitor sites while engaging with a diverse public. Based at Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park in Renfrewshire, this position requires working at our visitor sites at Castle Semple and Muirshiel. These busy locations attract many visitors, so a professional and approachable manner when dealing with the public is essential, along with the ability to work independently.
The role involves working both indoors and outdoors, with a shift pattern that may include early evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness at sites and centres, as well as basic surveillance activities of park sites.
Ideal candidates will have previous experience in cleaning or cleansing, excellent communication skills for engaging with a diverse range of people, the ability to use initiative, and an interest in the countryside and conservation.
Qualifications such as a vocational SQA level qualification (or equivalent) are desirable. A driving license is also preferred.
This is a temporary position, subject to business needs and funding, for a duration of 6 months or until the post's requirements cease, whichever comes first.
