Here at NCHA we have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our friendly and supportive team as a Cleaner at Sherwood House.
This is our very loved care home for older persons, situated in a quiet village. Our beautifully refurbished period home has been fully modernised to meet the varying needs of our residents, including mobility issues, physical disabilities and lack of confidence to live independently. We consider the daily cleanliness and hygiene of the home to be paramount in ensuring we keep residents and colleagues safe and well at all times.

The Role
As a Cleaner at Sherwood House, you will provide a comprehensive cleaning service for the project.

What we are looking for
We would like to hear from you if you are akindandcaringindividual, withexperience in cleaningoffice business premises and/or communal areas in a residential setting(although full training is provided). Our ideal candidate isthorough,attentive,motivatedand is ateam player. You will need to have an understanding of Health and Safety requirements and the safe storage of materials and equipment, and demonstrate this at application and interview stage.
All successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check; paid for by NCHA.
Working Hours
Sherwood House is a 24/7 hours service, open 365 days a year. Shifts for this role include weekdays, weekends and bank holidays. Working hours for this role are between 8.00 am and 3.00 pm over 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Occasionally, you will be required to attend training at our Head Office, which is based in Clifton.
Travelling to Sherwood House
Due to its location, candidates who can drive are highly desirable, as public transport involves a 20-minute walk to the care home from The National School in Hucknall, which is the furthest the threes buses (Trent Barton) can take you to in your journey to us. The home is a 7-minute drive from the High Street in Hucknall.
