Job summary

Laleham Gap School in Ramsgate is seeking a Cleaner to join our team. The role is 17.5 hours per week during term time, with additional weeks in school holidays. The position reports to the Cleaning Supervisor and involves cleaning to a high standard in line with Health & Safety regulations.

The successful candidate will work with minimal supervision and may undertake training as required to fulfil the job requirements. Typical hours are 3:00 pm – 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a school or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, toilets, and communal areas according to the school schedule.
• Maintain high cleaning standards and report any issues to the Cleaning Supervisor.

Job description

Laleham Gap School is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our wonderful team.

KSA FTE £26,168.00 (pro-rota to £11,392.30) for 17.5 hours per week, term time (plus additional weeks in the school holidays).

Please note that term time working hours will be from 3pm - 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor you will undertake cleaning of the school to provide a comprehensive service in compliance with the school schedule and practices within Health & Safety regulations.

The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently and effectively to a very high standard with minimal management / supervision and will be willing to undertake any training deemed necessary to fulfil the requirements of the job.
