About The Role

We are currently seekingan experienced cleaner to join our friendlyand hard working cleaning team. Ideally, you’ll have experience of cleaning in a school, be a good team player and enjoy providinga high quality cleaning service. Working on a daily basis you will have responsibility for a designated area and work as part of ateam to ensure that the academy is kept clean, tidy and sanitised in order to maintain an excellent learning environment for staff and pupils.

The ideal candidate will:
• Have good experience of professional cleaning, ideally within aschool
• Be a good team player
• Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Be committed to providing a high quality cleaning service

Location: Hastings

Salary: ARK (outside London) Grade 1, Point 2 – £23,723per annum gross, prorata (actual gross salary £7,693.70pa)

Hours: 12.5 hours per week (2.5 hours per day (3.15pm - 5.45pm), 5 days a week interm time, with 24 days of school holiday work required annually.

Contract: Permanent, subject to satisfactory completion of a probationary period.
