Job summary

Mitie Group plc is seeking an Outdoor Cleaning Operative to maintain exterior areas at a prestigious office complex, ensuring roads, paths and car parks are clean and free of rubbish.

Contract: permanent, part-time (25 hours/week) with shifts 5am–10am, Monday to Friday. A driving licence is preferred and reliability is essential.

Pay: £13.45 per hour. Location: Virgin Money (Nationwide), Jubilee House, Gosforth, NE3 4PL, with MiDeals discounts available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain external areas across the site as directed by Facilities/Operations Manager.
• Ensure roads and paths are clean and free from rubbish and cigarette ends.
• Keep car parks free from debris using the leaf blower where applicable.
• Remove rubbish and waste bins to designated collection areas.
• Ensure the workplace is clean, tidy and hazard-free for the next shift.

In order to be successful in this role you will need have the ability to communicate and read basic English.

Previous experience is desirable.

UK driving licence is desirable.

You will need to be reliable and hardworking with a professional attitude.
