Cleaner - Norwich University of the Arts

Norwich University of the Arts is looking for several Cleaners to join our busy cleaning team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining our facilities by carrying out various cleaning duties as outlined in your job description.

Our thriving University is based in the heart of Norwich City centre and has 10 buildings across the city. We offer a pleasant, friendly working environment on an award-winning campus, where you can make a positive impact on the student experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the University premises are kept clean and orderly.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, emptying waste bins, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning toilet facilities, following the cleaning schedule.
• Notify management of repairs and stock needs.
• Maintain cleaning cupboards and cooperate with team members.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Carry out intensive cleaning during out-of-term periods and other tasks as directed by the Cleaning Team Leader.

Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience is essential.
• Ability to work flexibly with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude, trustworthy, punctual, and reliable.
