Job summary

Northridge Community School is seeking a reliable Part-Time Cleaner to maintain clean, safe spaces during term time. The role runs 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 5:30am–8:00am, with some half-term duties. An enhanced DBS check will be required; the employer covers the cost.

You will work independently to high standards, manage waste and cleaning routines, and support on-site staff in maintaining excellent hygiene and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or caretaking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic site health & safety practices.
• Excellent communication and ability to build relationships on-site.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors and rooms (dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming).
• Empty bins, clean restrooms, and restock sanitation stations.
• Build relationships with clients on-site.
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
• Report defects or damages promptly.

Join Our Team as a Part-Time Cleaner at Northridge Community School - Term time, will require some half term working

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces,who values responsibility and enjoys working on their own initiative.

You’ll be working 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 5:30am – 8:00am.

• Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
• Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanities stations are full.
• Building relationships with clients on site.
• Following health and safety at all times.
• Report any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside;

• Knowledge of basic site health & safety
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site
• Confident working independently to your own initiative
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
