Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our Defence cleaning and facilities team, contracted to 16 hours per week. You will help deliver on our promise to provide the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers.

The ideal candidate will be organised, hands-on, and flexible. Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential; full training will be provided. This role offers consistent shifts within a large UK-wide facilities network.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensure surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Respond to spills quickly and perform additional cleaning duties as needed.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste and maintain supply levels.
• Restock cleaning supplies and monitor stock.

As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. If you're a committed Cleaner looking for a role you'll shine in, we've got the position for you.

Here's an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

• Mon: Evenings
• Tues: Evenings
• Weds: Evenings
• Thurs: Evenings
• Fri: Evenings

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
