Job summary

St Helens Council is recruiting for cleaners across our 55 primary and 5 secondary schools in the Borough. Roles can be full-time, part-time or term-time, with training provided and a commitment to safe, clean environments for staff, pupils and the public.

Successful applicants will join a team dedicated to high standards of cleanliness and community support, with opportunities to balance work with life commitments and development through the Council's training programmes.

Qualifications

  • No previous experience required; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • All cleaners work individually or as part of a team to complete daily cleaning routines in line with health and safety policy to ensure safe working practices.
  • You will be comfortable and confident in communicating with managers, colleagues and members of the public in accordance with council policy.
