Job Description:

Cleaner - Laithes Primary School

Norse Commercial Services is working in partnership with our clients in Barnsley to deliver a comprehensive range of first-class cleaning services across the local areas.

We have a successful partnership with Laithes Primary School and we are looking to recruit a Cleaner on a part-time basis. You'll be required to work 10.5 hours per week, Mon-Weds 2 hours, Thurs+Fri 2.25 hours, with a 3.15pm start time.

In this role, you will carry out basic cleaning duties which may include:

  1. Cleaning floors and rooms including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
  2. Emptying bins, cleaning restrooms, and ensuring sanitization stations are full.
  3. Building relationships with clients on site.
  4. Following health and safety at all times.
  5. Reporting any defects or damages.

Our Successful Candidate:

We will ideally be looking for you to demonstrate previous cleaning or caretaking experience in a previous role, alongside:

  1. Knowledge of basic site health & safety.
  2. Excellent communication skills, capable of building relationships with our clients on-site.
  3. Confident working independently to your own initiative.
  4. Good organisational skills, with attention to detail.
