An opportunity exists for suitable individuals to work within the Facility Operations as a Cleaner at Knoplaw Primary School, Hillhead Parkway, Newcastle upon Tyne.
16.00 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 2:45pm to 6:00pm
Grade N1 - £12.60 per hour inclusive of Real Living Wage
Newcastle City Council is currently looking for reliable and friendly people with a positive attitude to join our Facility Services team as a Cleaner. No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
Working as a team and using your own initiative, daily duties will involve cleaning designated areas such as corridors, classrooms, offices, and toilet areas using required equipment. Responsibilities include emptying bins, mopping, and vacuuming floors, with regular stooping, bending, and lifting. Candidates should have a basic understanding of written and spoken English due to the use of chemicals.

Facility Services and Civic Management work across the city and Gateshead providing building cleaning, caretaking, school meals, and welfare catering services.
