Job summary

Walkergate Community School, part of the NEAT Academy Trust, is seeking a Cleaner in Charge for the Early Years site. You will supervise the cleaning team, carry out duties to meet standards, and manage stock and equipment to ensure a safe, hygienic learning environment.

Part-time 17.5 hours per week, 3:00pm–6:30pm, Monday to Friday. The role requires reliability, security duties as keyholder, and a commitment to safeguarding and high cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team and prioritising workloads.
• Ability to act as keyholder and perform basic security checks.
• Excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Able to follow procedures and work independently to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cleaning operations at the site.
• Manage cleaning stocks and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
