Job summary

Amey is recruiting a part-time Cleaner/Housekeeper for Glennifer High School in Paisley. The role is on-site, permanent, with 15 hours per week, typically 05:00–08:00, Monday to Friday. Salary is £13.51 per hour, reflecting responsibilities in delivering a safe, clean environment for staff and pupils.

You will follow health and safety guidelines, manage cleaning supplies, and work as part of a team to support school operations and carbon-reduction initiatives. PVG checks apply before starting.

We are excited to offer a opportunity for a Permanent part time Cleaner/Housekeeper on our Renfrewshire schools account in Glennifer High school, Amochrie Road, Paisley, PA2 0AG

Salary £13.51 per hour

The standard hours of work are 15 hours per week. (Shift pattern is 05:00am to 08:00am mon-fri)

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimum impact or disruption to day-to-day operational requirements of the schools.

What you will do:

• Provide a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements.
• Control stock levels and order consumables
• Operate machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensure a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
