Your new role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our Dumfries and Galloway schools account in Lockerbie Academy, Glasgow Road, Lockerbie DG11 2AT.

This role is on-site based.

Salary £12.00 per hour

The standard hours of work are 15 hours per week (Shift pattern 05:30am to 08:30am Monday to Friday)

We work in partnership with our clients and end-users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimal impact or disruption to the operational requirements of the schools.

Cleaner/Housekeepers play an important role in providing high-quality cleaning services throughout the schools' designated areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Providing a cleaning service that meets our contractual requirements.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables.
• Operating machinery safely, following guidelines and training.
• Ensuring a high-quality service for building users, maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Achieving H&S standards across the contract.
• Supporting local and business zero carbon programs, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as appropriate.

• Openness to learning and supporting others.
• Experience using chemicals and machinery safely.
