We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Cleaner to Join our National Highways Account in Bedford, Woodlands Building, Manton Ln, Bedford MK41 7LW - This role is based on site.
The salary is £12.82 per hour
The hours of work will be 25 hours per week : 09:00am - 14:00pm Monday - Friday
Amey provides comprehensive facilities and estate management services for Highways England, including maintenance, cleaning, and project management.
We collaborate with clients, staff, and partners to ensure our 24/7 service maintains high standards with minimal disruption, keeping one of Europe's busiest road networks safe and operational.
What you will do:
• Providing a cleaning service that delivers to our contractual requirements
• Controlling stock levels and ordering consumables
• Operating machinery safely and in line with the guidelines and training provided
• Ensuring a high-quality service is provided to the building users at all times
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract
