Job summary

Stagecoach Mansfield Depot is hiring for a Bus Shunter, Vehicle Cleaner & Bus Wash Operative. 20 hours across 5 days with late shifts (20:00-24:00) and weekend opportunities, based at Mansfield Depot.

Role involves fueling, cleaning, shunting, and record-keeping while adhering to safety policies. Prior cleaning or depot operations experience is valued; UK driving licence desirable.

• Maintaining fuel records, cleaning schedules, and vehicle info.
• Checking cleaning equipment, tools and supplies regularly.

Bus Shunter, Vehicle Cleaner & Bus Wash Operative

Salary: £13.16 per hour Monday to Friday, £14.48 per hour on weekends.

Location: Mansfield Depot.

Hours: 20 hours over 5 days.

Late shifts, any 5 days from 7 (20:00 - 24:00hrs).

What you'll be doing

• Fueling buses as they return to the depot after service.
• Washing and cleaning the exterior of vehicles to maintain high presentation standards.
• Operating exterior vehicle wash.
• Safely parking and shunting buses around the depot.
• Sweeping and cleaning vehicle interiors.
• Carrying out interior, exterior, engine bay, and under-chassis cleaning of company vehicles.
• Cleaning depot facilities, including offices, workshops, welfare areas, and other operational spaces.
• Completing and maintaining accurate records, including fuel records, cleaning schedules, and vehicle information.
• Carrying out regular checks on cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Following all Stagecoach safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
