Newport Norse, a joint venture between Norse Group and Newport City Council, provides contract cleaning services across the local area.

We are seeking an experienced Cleaner for Glan Llyn Primary School in Newport. Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, security, and general site upkeep, along with various cleaning duties.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Report defects or issues to the Area Supervisor.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

This is a part-time, permanent position, 15 hours per week. Full training will be provided if needed.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to cleaning, including machinery and products.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Good communication skills, capable of engaging with the public and clients.
