Job summary

Homey Group is seeking a reliable Cleaner & Gardener to maintain indoor and outdoor spaces. The role involves cleaning, waste management, and garden upkeep to ensure spaces are neat and presentable.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to work independently, and hold a valid UK driving licence. A fuel allowance is provided and travel between locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties: sweep, mop, dust, vacuum and sanitize indoor areas to maintain hygiene and presentation
• Manage waste collection, segregation and disposal according to guidelines
• Maintain outdoor spaces: lawn mowing, trimming, watering, pruning, weeding and garden upkeep
• Handle cleaning and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
• Travel between locations as needed; vehicle ownership preferred for transport of tools and supplies

Job description

We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and hands-on Cleaner & Gardener to support the day-to-day upkeep of both indoor and outdoor spaces. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing environment, and who is comfortable managing a variety of tasks independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure all indoor areas are hygienic and presentable at all times. Waste management will also form a key part of the role, including the proper collection, segregation, and disposal of waste in accordance with guidelines.

In addition to indoor responsibilities, the role involves maintaining outdoor areas to a high standard. This includes lawn care such as mowing, trimming, and watering, as well as plant care including pruning, weeding, and general garden maintenance. The candidate should be attentive to detail and able to ensure that all outdoor spaces remain neat, healthy, and visually appealing.

The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to identify areas that need attention without constant supervision. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, dependable, and capable of handling both cleaning and gardening equipment safely and efficiently.

Applicants must have their own vehicle, as the role may require travel between locations or the transport of tools and supplies. A fuel allowance will be provided to support this requirement.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to take initiative are key qualities we are looking for

Benefits

Annual Salary between £22,000 - £25,000 + £5,000 Fuel allowance.
