Role:

Salary: £12.60 per hour (including a Real Living Wage supplement)

Location: Forth Banks Police Station

Hours: 6 hours every other weekend, 07:00 – 10:00, Saturday and Sunday.

Contract: Permanent

Join Northumbria Police as a Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment at our police stations. We value pride in your work, willingness to learn, reliability, and teamwork. No prior cleaning experience necessary.

Responsibilities:
  • Using specialist equipment and chemicals to clean washrooms and kitchens
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Operating floor machines such as scrubbers and dryers
  • Emptying bins and performing general cleaning duties
  • Maintaining knowledge of health and safety legislation and adhering to safety standards
  • Working at heights as required
