Job Description:

Overview of Role:

As a cleaning operative, you will be responsible for undertaking cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a complete cleaning service in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations. The CQC oversees the safety, effectiveness, and compassion in health services.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Ensure that your assigned areas are clean, presentable, and serviceable at all times to improve customer experience.
• Maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital, adhering to operational standards.
• Present yourself professionally, courteously, and in accordance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, and values.
• Carry out all duties related to cleaning and waste collection within designated premises.
• This role can be physically demanding and may involve lifting.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks such as washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Assist with laundry duties and rotas as required.
• Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
• Take responsibility for your area, maintaining high standards.
• Contribute to good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by your line manager.
