Job Description:

Overview of Role:

As a cleaning operative, you will be required to undertake cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a complete cleaning service is provided in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations. (The CQC is the body which makes sure health services provide people with safe, effective, and compassionate care).

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Ensure that our customers have a better day, every day, by keeping your assigned areas clean, presentable, and serviceable at all times.
• Deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital, in line with operational standards.
• Present yourself professionally, courteously, and in accordance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, and values.
• Carry out all duties related to cleaning and waste collection within designated premises.
• This role can be physically demanding and may involve lifting from time to time.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks such as washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Assist with laundry duties and rotas as required.
• Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
• Take responsibility for maintaining your area to high standards.
• Contribute to good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
• Perform any reasonable requests from your line manager applicable to your role.
