Job description

Great Dawley Town Council are currently looking to recruit a part-time Cleaner / Caretaker, for a 20hr per week role. Pay: £12.45 per hour. The ideal candidate will live locally to Great Dawley, and can be available at short notice if the needs arises.
The hours will be 20 hours per week, flexible working based on demand to include mainly evening and weekend work.

• Duties will include:
• Opening and closing of community buildings. (keyholding, arming / disarming of intruder alarm)
• Cleaning of community buildings and council office spaces. (vacuuming, mopping, polishing, emptying of bins etc)
• Welcoming private hirers of community buildings.
• Set-up and take-down of regular sessions, events and functions. (setup as directed by the Assets & Facilities Officer)
• Ensuring the security of buildings
• Reporting maintenance concerns.
• Other duties as directed by the Assets & Facilities Officer.
