Overview

Custody Suite Cleaner position with Cheshire Constabulary at the Custody Suites in Blacon. This is a part-time role of 14 hours per week on a 3 week rota, 6am – 9.30am.

rota details: 1 - Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu; 2 - Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun; 3 - Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri.

Note: Due to police vetting criteria, you must have resided within the UK continuously for at least 3 years at the time of application.

Responsibilities
  • Clean all designated areas in accordance with cleaning performance indicators and Service Level Agreements, maintaining a clean environment for customers.
  • Use equipment, cleaning machines and techniques as directed by cleaning supervision and management to effectively clean all areas.
  • Safely use approved cleaning materials and chemical supplies appropriate for the task.
  • Work individually or as part of a team to achieve a clean environment at the required locations.
  • Attend and complete any necessary training courses to ensure working practices comply with all legislative requirements, Force Policies and Cleaning requirements.
  • Implement Health and Safety instructions issued by cleaning supervision regarding equipment, materials, frequencies, and methods to ensure a safe environment for users of the premises.
  • Liaise with the cleaning supervisor on stock levels and any equipment issues.
  • Report repairs or service failure issues to the Estates and Facilities helpdesk.
Qualifications
  • Ability to provide an efficient and effective cleaning service to agreed standards.
  • Willingness to participate in required training and adhere to policy and procedure requirements.
  • Eligibility as per the stated regional access and vetting criteria (UK residency for the past 3 years at application time).
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team, following directions from cleaning supervision.
