Job Description

Carry out cleaning duties in Aberdeenshire Council Education and Children's Services premises.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Cleaning post at Banchory Academy Campus, 16 hours in total. Working hours are between 15:00 and 21:00.

Aberdeenshire Council currently applies a Living Wage Supplement to all Council employees earning less than £12.60 per hour.

Requirements

This post requires at least one reference, which must be from your current or most recent employer.

This position involves regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Providing this check is mandatory. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the role are contingent upon satisfactory completion of these pre-employment checks.
