Job Description
The posts are fixed term until 31/03/2025.
Hourly rate - £12.56
These are part-time, term-time posts; the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.
Post 1: 14.25 hours per week - Our Lady & St Patrick's High School
Post 2: 16 hours per week - Vale of Leven Academy
Post 3: 14.25 hours per week - Dumbarton Academy
Vacancies have arisen for Cleaning Operatives within the authority’s Alexandria & Dumbarton area.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a high-quality, responsive cleaning service within the premises. The successful candidate will be required to carry out general cleaning duties, ensuring high standards are maintained while adhering to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
We have a number of positions within high schools which offer term-time contracts. The working hours for these posts are between 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Contracted hours range between 14.25 hours - 16 hours per week.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such, membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Applicants are, therefore, not statutorily entitled to withhold information about convictions which for other purposes are "spent" under the provisions of the Act.
