Job summary

A cleaning service provider is seeking a part-time cleaner to maintain a hygienic environment at a college in Port Talbot. An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Part Time Cleaner, working at a college in, SA10 area.

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The role involves daily cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and other facilities to ensure that the school remains a welcoming and hygienic space.

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, work well as part of a team, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Hours: On average 12.5 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Friday 05:30am - 08:00am.

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added:

  • The Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning of all areas within the contract.
  • Achieving high standards, you will ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically.
  • Clean classrooms, staff rooms, offices, hallways, and communal areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
  • Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
  • Clean desks, chairs, and other furniture.
  • Wash and disinfect sinks, toilets, and other restroom facilities.
  • Refill soap dispensers, toilet paper, and paper towels as needed.
  • Clean windows, doors, and walls as required.
  • Respond to emergency cleaning tasks when needed, such as spills or accidents.
  • Support the wider school team in maintaining the cleanliness of the outdoor areas, such as playgrounds or school grounds, if required.
