Job summary

Mitie is hiring a Cleaner for Cambridge to deliver excellent service and meet SLA agreements. The role operates Monday to Friday, 11:00am–15:00pm, at Cambridge England, CB1 2JW, with a pay of £15.21 per hour.

Full UK Driving Licence is required, and candidates must meet safety and colour vision standards. This permanent position offers opportunities within a large facilities management team and access to Mitie’s benefits and career progression.

• Experience in cleaning services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cover the positions from other cleaners' operatives when needed.
• Work within the Cleaning Services Team, carrying out duties effectively and efficiently per contractual requirements.
• Follow Health, Safety and Quality procedures throughout the role.
• Keep equipment clean, well maintained and in safe working order (e.g., PAT tested).
• Understand designated cleaning areas and time allocation for each area.

Contract: Cleaner Operative

Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday 11:00am to 15:00pm

Pay: 15.21 per hour

Location: Cambridge England, CB1 2JW

Role Responsibilities

Have available to cover the positions from other cleaners' operatives.

Work within the Cleaning Services Team, carrying out duties effectively and efficiently in accordance with contractual requirements.

Follow the Company's Health, Safety and Quality procedures within the course of the role.

Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order, i.e., PAT Tested, etc.

Understand the designated cleaning area, including the agreed work to be carried out and time allocated to the area.

Prepared to undergo training on all cleaning equipment, materials and approved chemicals used within the premises.

To comply with the requirements of Health & Safety, other relevant legislation and premises policies.

Criteria

What we looking for:

All applicants subject to Government Vetting check.

British citizen, Indefinite stay or EU Citizen.

Must have been residing in the UK for the past 5 years.

3 years passport validity.
