Job summary

SBFM is seeking a part-time Cleaner for a retail site in Workington. Join a friendly team to maintain a clean, welcoming store environment. The role offers training, uniform and equipment, with progression opportunities and access to education resources.

Shifts run 08:00–10:30, Monday to Thursday, totaling five hours per week. Benefits include 28 days' pro rata annual leave, pension, and flexible pay/work tools via company apps.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not essential as training and development will be provided.
• Uniform, products and equipment will be supplied.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of store floors by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces regularly to maintain a tidy atmosphere.
• Removal of litter and ensuring outdoor areas are clean.
• Clean and sanitize all sanitary facilities, including restrooms and break areas.
• Restock supplies such as toilet rolls, soap, and hand towels.
• Follow safety and cleaning protocols.

Experience is preferred but not essential as we will invest in your training and development, while giving access to education opportunities for your future progression. All uniform, products and equipment will be provided.

Shift Details

0800 am - 1030 am Mon Thurs - 5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of store floors by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces regularly to maintain a tidy atmosphere.
• Removal of litter and ensuring outdoor areas are clean.
• Clean and sanitize all sanitary facilities, including restrooms and break areas.
