Job summary

Kingdom Services Group are recruiting a reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at HTC Handforth Dean Retail Park. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers, retailers, and staff.

Daily duties include cleaning and sanitising toilets, staff facilities, office areas, kitchens, communal spaces, corridors, and entrances. External cleaning includes litter picking around the car park.

• Clean and sanitise customer toilets, staff facilities, office areas, kitchens, communal spaces, corridors and entrances on a daily basis.
• Carry out external cleaning duties including litter picking in car park and surrounding areas to keep the retail park presentable.
• Follow cleaning schedules, use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, and monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies.
• Report health and safety or maintenance concerns promptly and act on them.
• Work independently or as part of a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the site.

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Average 25 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Any 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday, 07:00 - 13:00

Kingdom Services Group are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at HTC Handforth Dean Retail Park. This is a flexible cover role working any 5 days out of 7, with varying days off each week, therefore flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.

As a Cleaning Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers, retailers, and staff. Daily responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitising customer toilets, staff welfare facilities, office areas, kitchens, communal spaces, corridors, and entrances. You will also be responsible for external cleaning duties, including litter picking throughout the car park and surrounding areas, helping to ensure the retail park remains presentable at all times.

The role involves following cleaning schedules, using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies, and reporting any health and safety or maintenance concerns. You will be expected to work efficiently, manage your workload effectively, and consistently deliver high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the site.

The ideal candidate will have previous commercial cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A proactive approach and commitment to excellent service are essential.
