About Us:

Facilities Management are looking to appoint a Cleaner to work 10 hours per week Monday to Friday

About the Role:

Your working week is 10 hours per week to be worked Monday to Friday 3.45pm until 5.45pm. This is a 52 week contract and holidays are to be taken in school holiday period. Hours maybe subject to change to meet the needs of the school service.

We are looking for someone who is a hard-working, energetic and honest person with excellent customer care skills and the ability to provide a quality service within a busy school. The ideal person should have good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team and be able to communicate clearly with and relate positively to all members of the school community. The ability to work alone to tight timescales is essential.

Rochdale council offers a generous holiday entitlement of 25 days plus all Bank Holidays which must be taken in the school holidays. Holiday entitlement will increase to 30 days after the completion of 5 years' service.

About You:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining an excellent standard of cleanliness around the school and duties will include toilet cleaning, mopping, cleaning of internal glazing, vacuuming, use of equipment include scrubbers driers and buffing machines.

Cleaning experience is essential, although persons with skills appropriate and a willing attitude are invited to apply.

Appointment is subject to satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check under child workforce, medical clearance and references.
