Job summary

SeeMe Hired Ltd is seeking reliable cleaners for an educational building in Bristol. You will perform general cleaning tasks, attend to deep-cleaning needs, and help maintain high cleanliness standards.

Experience in cleaning and knowledge of COSHH are preferred. DBS checks are required; clear communication in English is acceptable even if not first language. Shifts are Mon-Fri 06:00-09:30, paid at £13.45 per hour.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning tasks: dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors.

General Cleaning Tasks

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.

Specialist & Deep Cleaning

• Carrying out periodic deep-cleaning tasks (e.g., carpet cleaning, polishing floors).
• Using appropriate cleaning materials for different surfaces to maintain standards and protect equipment.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Using cleaning equipment safely (e.g., buffers, steamers, vacuums), ensuring proper storage after use.
• Following health & safety regulations, including safe use of cleaning chemicals (COSHH).
• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or damages promptly.

Teamwork & Independence

• Working independently to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
• Supporting colleagues as needed to ensure high overall cleanliness standards.
