As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across accommodation and shared spaces while helping to ensure student welfare.

Responsibilities:

• Keep bedrooms, corridors, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas clean and presentable.
• Follow cleaning schedules and complete routine checklists.
• Ensure the laundry room remains clean, tidy, and secure.
• Maintain accurate sign-in/out records and always wear the required uniform and ID badge.
• Manage room turnovers and prepare spaces as needed during student intake or departure periods.
• Act as a first point of contact for students with queries, concerns, or complaints.
• Report any signs of illness, distress, or potential safeguarding issues.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cleaner, Cleaning Operative, School Cleaner, Facilities Cleaner, Cleaning Assistant, Housekeeper, or in a similar role.
• Ideally, experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or laundry services within a residential or institutional setting.
• Understanding of basic health & safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow written instructions and complete routine forms.
