Job summary

Compass Group PLC in Wattisham is seeking a permanent Cleaner - Zero Hours to join our defence-focused cleaning and facilities teams. This role is contract to 0 hours per week with a Mon-Fri day pattern and offers the flexibility to work across sites within Defence and government sectors.

You will keep environments safe and hygienic, carry out dusting, sweeping, mopping and sanitising, restock supplies and perform related duties with a hands-on, flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Hands-on and flexible.
• Cleaning experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
• Committed to working in Defence/secure environments and delivering good service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hygienic environments for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensure surfaces, floors, windows, and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, including mopping spillages quickly.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

We're currently recruiting a permanent casual Cleaner - Zero Hours to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 0 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaner - Zero Hourss, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: Mon-Fri (Full Time Days)

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner - Zero Hours will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
