Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cleaner in Wallingford, United Kingdom. The role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00, at a pay rate of £12.71 per hour.

You will join a friendly team to keep workplaces clean, safe and welcoming, contributing to a positive environment for everyone. Key duties include completing scheduled cleaning tasks, following instructions and safety procedures, wearing PPE, and reporting any issues.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out a range of cleaning duties.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, products and equipment.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to a clean, safe environment.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures, including COSHH requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor or Manager, following required cleaning standards and procedures.
• Undertake all required training and follow cleaning instructions, task cards and colour-coding policies.
• Wear the company uniform and required PPE, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
• Follow all company and client policies, including housekeeping, infection control, security and COSHH requirements.
• Report any faults with cleaning equipment, defects or health and safety concerns to the Cleaning Supervisor or Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding hospital-related matters and carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
