Job Title: Cleaner

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Contract Type: Part Time

Type of Employment: Permanent

Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Location: Derbyshire Police, Police HQ, Butterley Hall, Ripley, Derbyshire, England, DE5 3RS

Role Overview

As a Cleaner, you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, in safe working order, and meeting all agreed SLAs. You will build knowledge of your designated cleaning area, the timing of work, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemicals, all while following Health and Safety requirements. Successful completion of all necessary training is required. You will work within a team and also demonstrate initiative, building positive relationships with customers, delivering excellent service, and seeking continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to communicate and read basic English
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
• Flexible, honest, self-driven, reliable, and professional attitude
• Full police vetting required
