Job summary

Gregory Distribution is hiring a Part-Time Cleaner to maintain a clean and welcoming depot environment in the UK. You will be responsible for cleaning toilet areas, kitchens, and staff rooms, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance needs. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise toilet areas including cubicles, sinks, and urinals.
• Refill soap dispensers and toilet rolls; maintain hygiene standards.
• Clean mirrors, hand dryers, and door handles; keep washrooms tidy.

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and detailed-focused Part-Time Cleaner. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment. You'll be responsible for keeping the depot clean, tidy and well-maintained. If you are passionate about cleaning, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:

• Toilet Areas:


• Clean and sanitise toilets, urinals, sinks and all cubicles (men's, women's, and accessible).


• Refill and top up soap dispensers and toilet rolls.


• Clean mirrors, hand dryers, handles and push plates


• Kitchen and Staff Room: Clean tables, chairs and surfaces to maintain overall tidiness. Empty bins and dispose of rubbish accordingly. Previous cleaning experience in a commercial environment.


• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards.


• Ability to work independently and manage tasks without direct supervision.


• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including safe handling practices.


• COSSH training and knowledge is desirable.


• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for long periods


• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic


• Good communication skills to report maintenance issues or stock shortages. Competitive Salary: £13.15 per hour.


• Hours: Monday to Friday, 1.5hrs per day, start times are negotiable.
