Job summary

PalmerSport is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join the team at Bedford Autodrome, the home of our prestigious corporate motorsport events. This hands-on role, on a zero-hour contract, involves maintaining cleanliness across facilities and suites to ensure a first-class guest experience.

You will work in a supportive team, performing routine cleaning, tidying offices, suites, and public areas, and following health and safety regulations to keep the site safe and presentable for visitors and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred.
• A Full UK driving licence is essential for the role.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the venues facilities, hospitality suites, offices, public areas, and toilets, are kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
• Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the pitlane areas throughout event days
• Following all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Working as a team to achieve efficient and effective cleaning operations
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department for timely resolution
