PalmerSport is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join the team at Bedford Autodrome, the home of our corporate motorsport events. This zero hour contract role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across facilities and suites to ensure a first-class experience for guests and staff.

The role is hands-on and team-based, offering variety in a unique motorsport environment. You will work to keep venues, offices and public areas spotless and compliant with health and safety rules throughout

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles preferred.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure venues facilities, hospitality suites, offices, public areas and toilets are clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in pitlane areas during event days.
• Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Working on a zero hour contract, you will assist in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our facilities and suites, ensuring customers, guests and colleagues enjoy a first-class experience throughout the site.

This is a hands‑on position within a supportive team, offering variety and the opportunity to work in a unique motorsport environment.

For this role you will be:

• Ensuring the venues facilities, hospitality suites, offices, public areas, and toilets, are kept clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
• Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain high standards of cleanliness
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the pitlane areas throughout event days
• Following all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others
• Working as a team to achieve efficient and effective cleaning operations
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department for timely resolution

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred
• A Full UK driving licence is essential for the role
• Strong attention to detail
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
