Job summary

Honeycomb Group is seeking a Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our male and female accommodation schemes, supporting residents who may have experienced homelessness, domestic abuse, trauma, mental ill health or substance misuse. You will help promote safety, dignity, wellbeing and recovery through the environment you help create.

You will work as part of a supportive team, cleaning various spaces to a high standard and adhering to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean communal areas, offices, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry facilities, corridors and other designated spaces to a high standard.
• Ensure cleaning tasks are completed safely and in line with health and safety procedures, COSHH guidance and infection control requirements.
• Report repairs, hazards, damage, pest issues and other safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleaning records, stock checks and cleaning schedules.
• Respond flexibly to urgent cleaning needs within a busy accommodation setting.
• Work respectfully around residents, maintaining their privacy, dignity and personal space.
• Contribute to a calm, safe and welcoming environment for residents, colleagues, visitors and partner agencies.
