Cleaner needed in Southampton

This is a temporary contract and the rate is £12.71ph PAYE

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within supported housing schemes, carrying out general domestic cleaning duties in communal areas and external spaces. They will undertake tasks such as cleaning shared areas, managing bin stores and bin collections, litter picking, and helping to ensure a high standard of cleanliness throughout the sites.

The role requires someone who can work closely with on‑site support workers, providing practical assistance where required and supporting tenants with tasks such as the safe disposal of waste. The successful candidate will be reliable, proactive, and able to work independently while demonstrating a customer‑focused and supportive approach when interacting with residents and colleagues.
