Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking a part-time Cleaner in Keyworth to support on a temporary basis at a client site. The role runs Monday to Friday, 15:30–17:50, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour under PAYE. Enhanced DBS is required to proceed.

You will perform general cleaning tasks, operate electrical cleaning equipment, respond to emergencies, and maintain site paperwork while coordinating with other cleaners and the site representative.

Responsibilities

• General daily cleaning tasks including emptying waste bins, suction cleaning carpets, dust damp wiping, floor maintenance and washroom cleaning.
• Using electrical cleaning equipment as required, including suction cleaning machines and floor maintenance machinery.
• Cleaning after emergencies (e.g., floods) and cleaning bodily fluid spillages.
• Effective communication with the designated site representative and other cleaning colleagues.
• Ensuring allocated paperwork and administrative systems are kept up to date at all times.

• 5. Ensuring allocated paperwork and administrative systems are kept up to date at all times.

This is a part time role on a temporary contract basis.
