Job summary

Southampton-based Sodexo is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join a prestigious corporate client site. You will carry out scheduled and reactive cleaning across offices and communal areas, maintaining meeting rooms and client-facing spaces to high standards.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability and a flexible, team-oriented approach. You will follow safety procedures and support various workplace tasks while delivering excellent service to colleagues and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled and reactive cleaning across offices and communal areas.
• Keep meeting rooms, collaboration spaces and client-facing areas clean and ready for use.
• Clean desks, workstations, workplace equipment and high-contact surfaces.
• Maintain kitchenettes, tea points, vending and break-out areas to high hygiene standards.
• Clean and maintain washrooms throughout the working day.
• Vacuum, mop and spot-clean floors as required.
• Empty waste and recycling bins and ensure correct waste segregation.
• Replenish soap, paper products and other workplace consumables.
• Complete periodic and deep-cleaning tasks when required.
• Monitor workplace standards and address any issues during shifts.
• Support meeting room setups and general workplace housekeeping.
• Respond professionally to requests from colleagues, clients and building users.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and correctly.
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH, Fire Safety, Security and Environmental procedures.
• Report hazards, defects or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Work with wider team and support other areas when required.
