Job Title: Cleaner

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time

Hours: 30 hours per week (6 hours per day)

Location: Woodlands School, Minstead Avenue, Harefield, Southampton, Hampshire, England, SO18 5FW

Job Information

Deliver excellent service standards for routine planned and periodic cleaning for a Mitie customer. Ensure the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA agreements while adhering to the cleaning schedules.

Main Duties

1. Undertake all required training to deliver the cleaning role.
2. Work within a team and independently.
3. Adhere to all Mitie Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
4. Maintain the designated area to an agreed level of cleanliness, following the contract and SLA requirements, and perform all scheduled tasks.
5. Ensure high standards of service delivery.
6. Keep all equipment clean, maintained, and safe to use.
7. Report any maintenance issues identified during cleaning.
8. Maintain security protocols, including locking doors and managing lost property.
9. Understand the specific cleaning area, work specifications, and time allocations.
10. Know all cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals used.
11. Set a good example in dress, behavior, punctuality, and attendance.
12. Follow safeguarding policies and report concerns appropriately.
13. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
14. Ensure contractors and visitors comply with security and safety policies.
15. Build positive relationships with customers, aiming to improve service quality.
16. Perform any other relevant duties as needed.
