Job summary

First Response Group is seeking a Cleaner to ensure spaces are spotless, welcoming, and hygienic across our facilities. You will perform routine cleaning, restock supplies, and handle minor maintenance while contributing to a safe environment.

The role offers flexible hours (full-time or part-time) with early shifts from 6am to 2pm. Training is provided, and the successful candidate will join a committed team focused on high standards and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred; training provided.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication with team members and clients.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop across living/working spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and supply closets.
• Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries to maintain readiness.
• Wash kitchen napkins, floor rags, and dusters.
• Manage inventory of cleaning products and order replacements.
• Take out litter and manage waste disposal.
• Carry out minor maintenance like replacing toilet seats and unclogging sinks.
• Monthly deep cleaning and disinfection to uphold hygiene.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and ensure compliance with universal precautions.

Job Opportunity

• Comprehensive Cleaning: Perform dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping of surfaces in various areas including living/working spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and supply closets to ensure a spotless environment.
• Restocking Supplies: Regularly refill and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries such as hand wash, toilet paper, and paper towels to maintain readiness and convenience.
• Laundry Duties: Wash kitchen napkins, floor rags, and dusters to keep them fresh and ready for use.
• Inventory Management: Maintain cleaning products and order new supplies when necessary to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Waste Management: Efficiently take out the litter and manage waste disposal to keep areas clean and hygienic.
• Minor Maintenance: Carry out minor maintenance tasks such as replacing displaced toilet seats and unclogging sinks to ensure functionality and comfort.
• Deep Cleaning: Conduct monthly disinfection and deep cleaning to maintain a high level of hygiene and prevent the spread of germs.
• Safety Compliance: Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs) and ensure compliance with universal precautions to guarantee a safe working environment.

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. We provide training to ensure you meet our standards.
