Job summary

SBFM in Ipswich is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our retail team. You will maintain store cleanliness, support customers and staff, and follow safety protocols.

Hours are Monday/Tuesday 08:00-11:00 and Wednesday/Saturday 08:00-11:30. Training is provided to help you grow within the company.

We offer accrued leave, pension, and access to training and development through our platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Polite and courteous to staff and customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of store floors by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces regularly to maintain a tidy atmosphere.
• Removal of litter and ensuring outdoor areas are clean.
• Clean and sanitize all sanitary facilities, including restrooms and break areas.
• Restock supplies such as toilet rolls, soap, and hand towels.
• Follow safety and cleaning protocols.

About The Role

Due to our continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Cleaner to join our business working in a retail environment in Ipswich, IP2 0AQ! Experience is preferred but not essential as we will invest in your training and development, while giving access to education opportunities for your future progression. All uniform, products and equipment will be provided.

Shift Details

Monday & Tuesday 08:00 - 11:00
Wednesday & Saturday 08:00 - 11:30

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of store floors by vacuuming, sweeping and mopping.


• Dust and wipe down surfaces regularly to maintain a tidy atmosphere.


• Removal of litter and ensuring outdoor areas are clean.


• Clean and sanitize all sanitary facilities, including restrooms and break areas.


• Restock supplies such as toilet rolls, soap, and hand towels.


• Follow safety and cleaning protocols.
