Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated cleaner to service trains and stations in Slough. The role involves cleaning trains and station areas, tidying work spaces, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and bin disposal. You may interact with customers and should be prepared to assist when needed.

You will complete health and safety records, attend required training, and be available for night and weekend shifts. A smartphone may be required for attendance and scheduling apps.

About The Role:

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning trains and train stations
• Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and other tasks as required.
• You may come into regular contact with customers so you must be able to assist them if needed.
• You must complete all relevant Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Previous experience in cleaning would be advantageous.
• You will have strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work night and weekend shifts.

Additional information:

• You may be required to undergo a medical and drug and alcohol test prior to starting in this role
• You may be required to pass an English language test prior to starting in this role
