OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a Cleaner to maintain safe, clean environments in client workspaces across the UK. The role covers tidying, cleaning floors, and communal areas, with duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and bin emptying.

You may interact with customers and must complete health and safety records and attend training when required. Working patterns include early and late shifts (6am–4pm and 4pm–6:30pm).

Qualifications

• You must have Right to Work in the UK.
• Experience in cleaning is advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and thorough task completion.

About The Role:

Working Pattern

6am to .30pm or 4pm to 6.30pm

As a Cleaner at OCS, you will play a crucial role in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces.

Key responsibilities:

• Tidying up work areas, cleaning floors and communal areas.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and other tasks as required.
• You may come into regular contact with customers so you must be able to assist them if needed.
• You must complete all relevant Health & Safety records and attend training courses when needed.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have Right to Work in the UK.
• A background in cleaning would be advantageous.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
• Applicants of this role will be subject to additional clearance requirements as part of the onboarding process including an enhanced DBS and checks required under Safer Recruitment in Education.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need access to a smartphone that can support our approved work applications for tasks such as clocking in and out (if you are required to use our time and attendance system for your role), viewing schedules, completing training and receiving work-related communications.
