Job summary

Westray Recruitment Group, on behalf of a value-led, high-tech global organisation based in Shiremoor, is seeking a Cleaning Operative. The role is temporary to permanent with immediate starts. Typical shifts run Monday to Friday, 7am or 8am, for 8 hours per day, with pay of £12.71 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Dusting and wiping surfaces, including desks, furniture and windows.
• Cleaning and sanitising restrooms, kitchens and common areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste properly.
• Restocking cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Performing routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Handling cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
