Job summary

Thorn Baker Facilities Management is seeking three Store Cleaners for a busy Stroud store. The role involves cleaning before opening, keeping the store welcoming and hygienic for customers. Hours are early morning, 18 hours per week, with a temp-to-perm path after a successful temporary period.

You will join a small cleaning team, work reliably and punctually, and have the opportunity to secure a permanent position. Immediate start available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work early mornings and as part of a team.
• Maintains high cleanliness standards and attention to detail.
• Good health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Clean the store to a high standard before opening.
• Clean customer and staff areas.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Clean toilets and other facilities.
• Empty bins and maintain general cleanliness.
• Ensure the store is clean and presentable before opening.
• Follow cleaning schedules and health & safety procedures.
• Report any issues or maintenance requirements to the relevant person.
• Work as part of a small cleaning team.

Are you looking for regular, early morning cleaning work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position?

We are currently recruiting for 3 Store Cleaners to join a team based at a busy retail store in Stroud.

This is a great opportunity for reliable and hard-working cleaners who take pride in their work and are looking for consistent hours. The role will involve cleaning the store before it opens, ensuring the site is clean, presentable and ready for customers each day.

The position is temp-to-perm, giving you the opportunity to secure a permanent role following a successful temporary period.

Your Role
